My character somehow got all twisted up. I was playing the mission where you have to infiltrate the Golden Glow Estate and do multiple things. Yeah, I had to take the stuff down. Evidently a few of the music companies had a problem with the videos because I got an e-mail about it. First time that's ever happened. I guess I was about to ruin the careers of the singers who popularized those songs and usurp their positions in popular culture, LOL! Damn, I was looking forward to being rich and famous...
Anyway, I was going to stop by and tell you all about it, but unfortunately before I could, I met with misadventure and lost so much blood that I still feel all dizzy and weird. Spent yesterday evening in the emergency room, and even got head of the line privileges. That's the fastest I've ever got in to see the doctor!
But that's another story...

Nah, nothing serious. I just landed in a barbed wire fence built with steel t-posts and got cut up a little. I think I'll replace those t-posts with nice round wooden fence posts.
It's amazing how fast the blood will come out of your body if you cut the right part. I never imagined you could pump your system dry that fast. I mean, one minute everything is fine and the next, you've got this fulminant eruption of blood all over the place and more coming! I was starting to get sort of fuzzy-brained and it was hard to remind myself that getting some medical attention was more important than worrying about getting blood all over everything, LOL!
And I can tell you, nothing will freak your wife out more than you suddenly appearing, waivering dizzily on your feet with everything around you turning red, LOL! I'm surprised The Lioness didn't just faint dead away. I hated to approach her looking like that because I knew she'd be all freaked out, but I also realized that things were getting a wee bit time sensitive and that I'd better get my ass to the hospital.
But, all's well that ends well. I'm on a prophylactic dose of antibiotics to head off any infections and I'm supposed to be on bed rest for a few days to get my strength back after the blood loss and to keep from getting things leaking again, but otherwise I feel OK other than still being pretty dizzy and forgetful. Losing a lot of blood makes you feel kind of peculiar. I'm taking iron and eating and drinking a lot to try to get everything back up to the full line on the dipstick.
Mrs. Sauron keeps looking at me like she can't decide whether to brain me with a cast iron skillet or hug me, LOL! She says she thought I was going to die. And my daughters are both grumbling at me and everyone seems to think that at my age I ought to calm the hell down.
But of course that's probably not going to happen, now is it?
