Coming soon, Ukraine vs Russia campaign set in 1996. . .

1996, Ukraine. . .

The Pro-Western Democratic Orange Revolution falters as its charismatic leader, the lawfully elected president of Ukraine, is assassinated.

Elections are held, but massive civil unrest ensues as the opposition leader of the Ukrainian Socialist Soviet Party claims a landslide victory amid allegations of electoral corruption and violence. The USSP seeks military aid from Moscow to quell the unrest.

However, a powerful cabal of Ukrainian generals swear to defend the independence of their nation, and to protect the Ukrainian People from this new Russian invasion. . .

Always takes me back to Flanker 2.0 when I see an SU-27 in a sim. What sim is that?

Yup, Flanker was a true classic, I still have 2.5 running on my old gaming box cool

Nowadays, due to RL time constraints, I tend towards the so-called sim-light end of the market.

The above screenie is from Strike Fighters 2: Europe, with the NATO Fighters 4+ package installed, plus the mods mentioned above.

My working build Ukraine campaign is proving to be a blast, lots of Red-on-Red action in Pfunk's cool new terrain.

Still trying hard to survive an Su-25 campaign boom
