I recently installed the 1.14.1 patch over the 1.14.0 patch (which I installed using the procedure given by Firebird in the "1.14.0 is out" thread).

I am playing on the Kuwait map - the Battle of Kuwait City campaign using Pilots and saves copied over from 1.13.0 version of game. I am playing as Blue but have noticed that there are a few flight groups containing Hinds and Ka-52 Alligators (on Blue side). Is this a feature or a bug?

I played EEAH about 7 years ago - played it to death. Commitments have meant I've only been able to dabble every now and then since (patch 1.13.0). All the content that wasn't here 7 years ago has blown me away. Great stuff! Much kudos and respect to all the folks that made this happen.

It's a feature. If you capture a FARP, you inherit ay units the enemy has stationed there.

I think I've even seen a "blue" T-80 at one point...

That's kinda cool! Only downside being I can't tell my Vikhrs from my Iglas! Oh, and the hind doesn't seem to have a HUD.

At one point the only available helos were these two. I didn't last long in the Hind and in the Ka-52 I was more of a threat to Blue's mission than the enemy! Good to know I still got plenty to get my teeth into though

Yeah, the lack of a HUD is kind of hindering, but I guess some people prefer a challenge...

But the KA-52 is a actually quite usable as a weaons platform.


In the long run though, I'll always stick to the Apache or Comanche.

Blackhawks with full Hydra rockets loadout are fun too. You are clumsy and somewhat blind, but "rocket spam" is fun nonetheless! You don't have proper targeting options, so you have an excuse to spam those rockets...

Hm. Does the UH-60 have a custom cockpit?
