As you can notice, AI didn't follow planned flight path, going instead toward an unknown point NNW. At point marked with "A", I switched on autopilot, that brought me back toward the carrier.

Try to load it into the FMB and see whats going on.

I don't think that's necessarily a new problem. Sometimes if the player engages the Autopilot control at certain points the AI does some wacky things. It's difficult to repeat... but yeah, open the mission in the FMB and have a look. You can even replay the mission. See if the AI does it again. I'm willing to guess that it will only do it 1 out of 100 times or something along those lines.

If nobody else noticed this, probably is a rare event.
