EDIT:

Nevermind... it actually does seem to be available, but not in Canada yet.

Anyone know what happened to the Kinect for PC? It was announced that it would be released on February 1, 2012 but it hasn't; there doesn't seem to have been an announcement of a delay either.

I've googled to no avail...

The DevKits were out only a week or so before the unit,

Should be available online in US for $250:

I'd like to see someone make an App to emulate TrackIR functions. (Similar to Track NoIR).

I'm interested in it to hook up to my HTPC in the living room.

My living room is quite small, and while I'm using a VisionTek Candyboard it would be nice to do away with it. It would also be nice for the kids, assuming that some devs come out with games notwithstanding MS's statement that the PC version will be primarily for business applications...
