Ok I think I have all the config work done on mini mod. Just need to add in a few textures and that damned model for energa rifle grenade if I can figure it out without going nuts.

Old school anti armor rifle fired grenade. Energa was used by nearly all of NATO and sold in Belgium fastion, to well, everyone. Not all that efective, but eh. Fun.

Right now im tweeking config. Its using the SAF R1_75 model. But I want to replace that with my model.......

Thinking about increasing scout platoon (both sections) detection range on tactical map. I'm starting to think that on this map at least the player needs a few more advantages. I may add another section of tanks, but they would show up closer to the end of mission. But this missions really needs to be played with historical set to off. You need those reinforcments with tanks. But as I said somewhere else, 1st platoon (not shown in mission) is where those extra tanks would be coming from. Ie, its being used as the company level reserve. But maybe I need to add it to mission for those that really want (or forget,or dont know) about the historical setting and how I use it. Thats why you read the the read me. biggrin

I really like this mission. I made it? lol. I made the thing but hardly play as im always moding stuff.

I like Crescent Moon too and yeah maybe increase their LOS.

On another note. My scouts made the first kill with energa rifle grenades. A bmp got to close to there hide and .......


However the tank that was in front of the bmp was not impressed.......



On another note....

Looks like a pack of Germans found the link to German Version. Went from 8 Downloads for German to 28 in a day. Got to get update done and German into Safari like I keep meaning too. I think mission Number 4 will be vary simular to crescent but from Iraq side attacking. Anyone know where the German's hang out in internet land? Well closing in on 400 downloads for files Im hosting. Not counting the beta hat missions (eeek bad). Still makes me wonder how SABOW is doing on sales.........I want my playable BMP! biggrin

Still 400 hundered downloads and like 4 or 5 people commenting. How do you make stuff better without feedback?

OK, many changes for V1.1 of crescent. I think Im happy with it now. Just 2 things still to do with mini-mod and its done. Need to retexture silly french beatnic hat, and the freaken model. Its probably really easy to get in game but Im being retarded it some way. biggrin

lOL i KNOW, right. Keep tweeking things. no but ill make sure paths dont erase older one so hopefully can exist at same time. Just tryng to make final cut so Im happy and can move on in good faith.

Wow, Now im having problems with a simple texture replacement. Getting a 005 critical error about cant find texture. Either missed an entry somewhere in config or it does not like the way I set up DDS exporter from photoshop. My mipmaps generated by Nvidea plugin might be set up wrong.
