Not to look like a idiot...but oh well, lol... Where the hell is the fuel settings on the Class A in the settings... most road vehicles have it at the bottom... I'm not seeing it unless I'm missing it...  AND... why would the HOF iRacing setup fail tech inspection... it's a iRacing included setup?  and finally... just FYI... testing the basics of the car first before I try to either find or do my own setup... With the basic setup my best lap out of 10 was 48.882 Fixed was 48.905 We should all be pretty similar to that with the default setups, alone... just you and a open throttle... right?

NASCAR does not allow anything less than a full tank of fuel for any session. So iRacing has modeled that in therefore no fuel option......

Yeppers! Even in Real life in all three major series qualifying is done on a full tank. The rules changed a few years back I do believe.

Did a small amount of practicing last night. I was averaging about 49 secs. Ive got to learn the line now.
But, anyway, my question is all i was doing was hold down the accelerator and turning now and then. How do you blow an engine while just doing that?! Testing set ups is ride height etc isnt it? Am i doing something wrong?

Tiger, follow another car in a two car draft for over 10 laps, your motor will blow. You need to watch your temp gauges now while in the draft. She gets really hot really fast when tucked up under another car.

Ah thanks Panther. Didn't see any other cars on the screenies so i thought mag was just in testing. I jnow nothing about ovals and NASCAR so i have a lot to learn. I read about the air intake thing though that prevents too much drafting. Going to have to change my view so that i can see all those gauges!
