When I open Computer to view all my drives in Windows, and enter a search term in the Search COmputer field and press Enter, nothing happens. Basically, it appears that the term isn't inputted. I have checked to see if F Lock is on or if Num Lock is on. Neither makes any difference.
But when I open a particular drive, I can enter a search term on a particular drive.

This hasn't happened to me in before in Windows, and is irritating b/c sometimes I don't know what drive a particular file is on. Any idea if this is a setting I can adjust?

In God Mode, down near the bottom is Troubleshooting: Find and fix problems with Windows Search.

Try that.

And if you have no idea what this 'God Mode' is, or how to get it, look here...
