Hello everyone looking at getting CoD but I am unsure of how well my laptop will run it. What I have is a

I know this game is a hog and I'm not expecting to run at ultra settings but would I be able to have good performance at medium/high settings?

With all that being asked from what I know of this game is that it had a shaky launch as far as bugs and overall performance goes. How is the sim in it's current state?

Despite some people running this game in lower settings on a laptop i woudn't even think about playing it on a laptop.

That's too bad. I am able to run Crysis 2 on high and have not had many problems with BF3 and can run that well on high/med settings so I thought that perhaps I would be able to get CoD going. Too bad as I would really like a better looking WW2 sim and Il-2 FB,AEP,PF is getting a tad old

You may be able to run the COD after the next patch as the developers are hoping to get near a 100% frame increase, but I would do some research on its playablility after the patch.

Mobile graphics cards aren't supported by CoD... but they may work.

Slim chance for that, unless flying over water. The devs hope to dramatically improve performance in the next patch, we'll see...



For offline flying it's still hampered by poor campaigns, non-working radio comms and often questionable AI and FMs.

If you're interested in online dogfights there's a small but dedicated community on a handful of servers.

I was able to pick the game up cheap and thus far it is working on my system at medium settings across the board(still looks good). I do see some slow down if during a free flight over london I set low level clouds. Was flying around last night over the channel for about a half hour and the performance was solid.

Hoping the next patch can make things run even better but right now in it's current state I would say it is playable.
