Had my work cut out for me on this one, lost half my tanks to fording incidents...

but I captured the last objective with 2 mins to spare, with 2 tanks left operational... lol...

A bunch of infantry in the open, so I call in steel rain... was funny as hell, 2 missiles went over my head by inches, damn close...

I drive by the metal graveyard I just created...

Victory with 2 units left... damn...

Last screenshot reminds me the editor of armed assault biggrin

I've always been interested in steel beasts but i postponed the purchase fearing shipping times or issues related to the inefficient italian postal system (U.S. Postal Service guarantees international delivery within 5-14 day...problems arise when the package gets into the hands of the local postal service) .Unfortunately there is no way to pay for it and download without the usb dongle frown or at least i have not seen any information about it.

I can never get kills with arty, by the time it falls the target has moved. At the moment I'm one of the smoking wrecks lol

Just guesstimate their speed and then call in the mission at the point that you think they will be if they are moving. Make sure that the strike covers the most amount of space as is possible to be safe. If they are going at 60kmh and if the time for the arty strike is 2.5 min than they will travel 2.5k from call to splash. If they are defending on a ridge then drop slightly behind them, they will move away from the strike and towards your own guns.

Our experience is that packages usually DO arrive. Sometimes they take longer, but it is rather rare that they get lost (stolen) entirely. In any case, rest assured that nobody who paid for his copy in our web store ever went away without a delivery.

BTT now...

Reassuring words , but here they were able to crash a 290mt long cruise ship on the rocks , i can only hope that at least the postman is not capable of crashing a truck somewhere\stole the packet\do something stupid since they usually can do it with shipments that do not exceed the distance of 50km rant-on-off .

Well i just have to order it and then wait biggrin

If the enemy's route is planned as an assault they generally move faster. Modern tanks will shoot on the move. Your arty call takes at least 2 minutes and you will be too late.

If the enemy's route is planned as an engage or march route they will stop and go hull down facing your units. Now thats the time to call for arty.

Check the unit behavior for route tactics in the manual.

Nice shots there Magnum. It looks like you got in amongst the enemy's mobile artillery battery.
