Then what you're doing now is meaningless. Diet, IMHO, is 75% of reducing weight.

From my personal experience, I did entire P90x DVD program without diet. My weight stayed the same. Gut was still hanging, but I felt great and in best physical shape ever. Skip to now. I barely exercise and just eat less with somewhat healthier foods. I'm down 20 pounds.

I guess i miss understood him, Yes my lifestyle has changed I have adjusted my diet to eat between 1800 and 2000. I have lost weight doing what i did before it is a proven fact. If you havent read the entire thread please do so before posting unless its support. I weigh 407 pounds now. I was at 412 lbs when i started this first part of January.

I stay within what my Dietitian and Trainer say to do and it will be like before. Only reason i gain it back was my stupidity and changing shifts. Not excuses just what happened.

I appreciate everything everyone has posted in this thread I welcome advise but realize i am a very big person and i have to adjust correctly without going wild.

Do not worry about the weight.

Measure progress by the fit of your clothes. The looser they are, the more progress being made.

Ignore weight. Take your clothing sizes down.

I joined a gym Sunday 8/30/09 and went for the first time in probably 15years. I weighed today for the first time since March as of today i am at 404.6 Lbs (in metric i think its a #%&*$#)

My goal in the long run is to get down to 205 to 210 pounds

But for the near term it is to keep going even though as today i felt soo out of place in there.

Pray for me, Keep me in your thoughts cause I am not a very motivated person.
Congrats Moses. I know its not easy but you definitely can do it. I'm also pullin for ya!

Good diet imo. This should help you alot. Also, you might consider a walking program. I currently walk about 6 to 8 miles a day but when I first started I'd get winded just by walking a 1/2 mile. I wish I could run but my knees are shot to heck after all the running I did when I was young and in the Army. It takes a while to get used to but walking can be just as effective. Remember Moses start out very slowly and don't over do it at first. I'm pretty sure you know this but I thought I'd say it.

I hear ya about the knees. I understand and cycling is also very good. So you're pretty much set Moses. I wish you the best. Also patience works wonders. A step at a time and results will start coming in. Sounds like you're good to go. Keep us posted.
