I've been using Paragon free for a while now and for restoring individual files it has been fine. However a few weeks ago I had cause to use it to restore a disk image. After going through the motions it gave me a rather unspecific error message saying it couldn't locate some file or other. This resulted in me having to do a complete re-install. Needless to say I won't trust Paragon again, but which one's have you guys used successfully? I don't mind paying but I don't want to use a cloud service either.
Any ideas, suggestions and success stories would be appreciated.

Fast, reliable, portable...free (although there is a payware version too). Saved me a few times.

Win 7 64 bit Pro has a built in backup. The image it creates works perfect. Or you can do incremental backups.

Thanks guys, Todo looks pretty cool but you make a very good point Speedbump, don't know why I'd look outside of Windows. Probably some outdated Vista hate or something. If I can set it to do incremental backups as well that'd be awesome, well you know what I mean, useful or something. Smile2

I use a free program Western Digital provides as a free download. It is Acronis True Image. I do an image of my boot disk weekly since my Raptor bit the big one. I switched the disks out and they each work flawlessly so the cloning works great.
