I'd like to buy a tank sim but I don't know any really, I don't want to pay too much and I think I'd prefer ww2 tanks but I'm not too fussy, can anybody steer me in the right direction?

Panzer Elite is a really good/fun game ... it's dated but there is still a followin' and people still moddin' it and it look absolutely beautiful

I picked up Panzer Elite from GOG.COM for $5.99 and am having an enjoyable time with it. The graphics are a bit dated but the sim will run at modern resolutions. Also the purchase comes with 450 mb of mods that include graphical enhancements, campaigns etc
