I think Tom Hardy is looking pretty badass as bane in the upcoming Batman film.



Obviously during downtime but the tough guy behind him using his chap stick is funny

are you kidding me ? i know in the comics at least bane is a mastermind of crime, unlike cartoon and video game where he is a dumb strong foe, but if that guy is a match for batman,that will be pathetic,he better hulksize or at least put a goddam armor if he wants to face nolan's super ultra realistic no magic,no sillyness batman

He looks damn silly to me.

And i thought i was the only one who thought that.

Really i am frightened that, if i encountered such guys in real life, that they would instantly beat me to death because i would not be able to stop laughing.

Well, at least the villains in the Nolan Batman films don't look anywhere near as ridiculous as the villians in the Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher Batman films. Either way, this film will rock.

And thats why he sucks,just pick a batman comics,well before the dc reboot thing,all his villains are a carnival parade.You can't make batman settings "realistic" and expect to suceed,there is only so much you can go on villain before you start with the ones that dont fit the realistic aesthetic he brough.i will see how his bane is actually portrayed,but if he doesnt have the venom enhancer, i can't see this guy beating batman mano a mano. fat chance of that. Plus that mask looks dumb, why not give him the luchador mask ?

There is a massive difference between comics and films and what looks great drawn doesn't when it's worn by a real human being. Take Thor (snigger) for instance, that just looked stoooopid.
