Excellent practice today for the iRacing Grand-Am series...

First the good, and this was just 2 or 3 laps, it really took about 10 to 15...

The bad, what were some of these DP drivers thinking... not enough room in some incidences? lol

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z2KomTDEXQ&hd=1&t=8s

and the down right ugly...

Remind me again what the penalty/punishment is for those that cause these accidents in iRacing?

Your car needs a mini-gun.

Mag if your car wasn't camouflaged, they might be able to see you! lol This is way I don't race official multi class road series. Those DPs are too powerful for some people. Unfortunately there is no fix for it, well no easy fix.

Is it like this in Race sessions, Magnum? Looks like they were using Mustangs for target practice!

will know later today... in fairness MOST DP drivers were very careful and respectful... just 1 or 2, seems to be the same over and over... the problem... in a official race, you can't laugh about it and hit esc for a reset... one hit and your done... out of race, lower iRating, lower SR.

Great video footage and screenshots.

One thing I wish iRacing would do would be to tone down the rolling/flipping and extreme heights the cars get to when incidents occur. For example, your 1st screen shot.

Nice vids Magnum, your new PC certainly is running it with all the eyecandy on.

Yeah looks like 1st week of multi class racing, lots of people in DPs that are still learning, just be glad that they take damage when they hit the Mustang now, a couple of seasons ago they would take almost no damage hehe so the learning took longer.
