Just wondering if anyone is running the Grand Am this season. This is my first season in the Riley MkXX and would like to be able to work with someone on developing setups and some basic mentoring in the series. My goal is to be competitive in the GT Challenge in 2013. I'm trying to start up a race team, bluefalconracing.freeforums.org.

Thanks you,

Brandon

Brandon,

I plan on running the Grand-Am series this season. I ran a few seasons on it back on the OTM and it was fun. I'm not much of a setup guru and basically plan on getting my baseline set this week then just alter the gearing from track to track after that. I would be happy to share it.

I don't believe I can upload a file here. So far I have managed a mid 1:04 at WG and expect to knock a few more tenths off that with a little more practice.

See you on the track

Brett

well you could practice together... but racing puts you in your own iRating split.

ahh.. so when there are multiple people racing the same races at the same time there are multiple sessions.. i get it. I forgot all about that. There goes that idea unless the series is not very populated off course.

I was running it last season, finished total 10:th overall
My plan was to take a race break this season, just doing some sporadric races in different classes.
But with the new NTM I'm thinging of staying on one more season.
The thing I'm not that happy about, is the way the races are going right now.
50/50 that you make it to finish line due to a lot of inexperianced drivers.
The amount of drivers has trippled since last season, for good and bad.

I will be driving my races mainly o sundays 20:00 or 22:00 CET
That is when most of my team mates in SSR (Swedish Sim Racers) drive.
However, I don't have any problems to share my setups or give tips on how to drive.
Just give a shout when you see me driving and add me as fried.
That way it's easy to check if and where someone is driving.
