If I try not to be emotional (which is not easy being a Hungarian), I understand that from business point of view it was far from being successful. I was using the Malev very often back at the time and it was always a nice trip. (edit) I just heard, the Malev stuff had a moody day in Ferihegy Budapest airport and Hungarians were crying openly. The 'old-school' Malev-pilots were giving a tearful good byes for their well served airplanes as well. The very last Malev flight was from the Helsinki, Finland to the Budapest. The captain was saying to the ATC something like a 'This is it.... I hope we meet again someday.' Hairaa Malev és Magyar! Edited by FDM4BGE (02/03/12 01:22 PM)
