MM. 8 PM EST. Be there!

I will try to have something new lined up, as well as the campaign mission from last week, which has been uploaded.

LOL, I don't think next Monday's MM will come as a surprise to many. biggrin

Now if there was a new patch or mod that needed installation for the mission(s) that night, then I would say it definitely needed a heads-up.

I also like to make the threads early so I can post info about the missions we'll be playing.

I've just sent off a new mission for 10-15 in the style of the Road Rage mission that we played last Monday, which everyone seemed to enjoy. This time we'll be Russians in BMP-3s, with Su-34s supporting us. Bet you haven't seen the Su-34 in action in ArmA much!

This mission also takes advantage of the fixed vehicle mounted Laser Designators (both BMP-3s) and the ability of a-g missiles like the Kh-29 and Hellfire to lock lasers in the beta. If you are planning to fly, I recommend that you install the current beta version of ArmA, so that you can have the ability to lock those lasers (and of course the fixed throttle at last). It is fully backwards compatible (I've been running the betas every week). There is also plenty of GL smoke for marking should it not work or be available.

I'll figure out why my new missions require a metal ninja by Thursday -- sorry about that. I've been doing some addon development lately so it might be some testing thing I had loaded when I exported the missions.

Yes, it was an addon I had loaded for testing that improperly added a self-dependency even without having its own units loaded. All my fault!

So, we finish the campaign NEXT week then?

I can't believe I was killed by a clipping soldier last night when I was the sniper. Possibly the A-10's rocket run pushed him under a building. I knew exactly where he was and could stand on top of him (but not see him). When I went out to the side he fired thru the rocks and hit me. frown

The A-10 CAS last night was just a tad bit erratic. wink
