Considering how many people with serious mental health problems just go out shooting everyone in sight, you should probably be more grateful this one only wasted a small amount of your evening.

My journey was fine, thanks. Worked until 10.30, couple of quick pints over the road and a 20 minute ride home. It is damn cold here at the moment, but thankfully dry enough to not be too worried about ice.

Much more convenient when they just nip off and shoot themselves without bothering everyone's commute, eh?

North Texas was covered in a thick blanket of fog. Viz was about 10 feet to nothing in some places.

Packed in a Shanghai metro as usual. Sardines have more freedom of movement. After that I narrowly avoided being killed by a driver in an SUV who thought that red lights are only suggestions and - because he drove a large car - has always right of way.

In short, normal.

I used to live in Charleston while a I was a student at MUSC. People used the old Cooper River bridge to jump from a number of times. It was a long way down. I think you would have a short moment to regret your decision on the way down. That old bridge was a real treat to drive over too.

Transit strike started today, so I am effectively grounded. I'm lucky enough to have an employer that doesn't mind me working from home, so that's what I did.

I work at home. Coffee's still hot when I hit the office chair.

On the other hand, I hope the guy gets the help he needs.

Was talking with a young lady on the Shanghai Metro last night as she travelled home smile isn't the internet great!
Not all SUV drivers are that bad thank goodness, it is "white van man" we have to look out for they own the road ....
my journey home was uneventful, just cold, and it is too cold at work to go in today so it is a stay at home day biggrin
