I'm having a hard time finding high res top view images of the leading edge extentions. Do any of you photographer have any I can use so I can finish the 2048x2048 VRS superbug skin?

Cheers

Unfortunately no. frown Thanks for trying.

This close works, but I need the inner LEX now.

This is the best I've found while looking through some of my photos. I'll keep looking.

Here's a couple more, but still not very good. All my shots from these angles are while it's flying, and that makes it tough to get much clear detail.

'Fraid this is the best I've got; crappy side-view from a static shot. I don't see much in the way of rivet lines on it, other than that panel just aft of the black friction surface.

IT's bad when I have to resort to model pics to find a pic. LOL I can find more details about the Shuttle than the lowly F-18. biggrin

To give you some idea, but lighter! Maybe?

Hi guys, thanks for your efforts :thumb: I should have been clearer though.

What I need is the inner leading edge flap top view. Some notes I've read call it the LEX also.

Ken, your 3rd photo should do the job if I can get more of the leading flaps.

Falstar, I've definately looked at models all the time, but as you know, I gotta cross reference as I try to make my skins as realistic as possible. smile

This will work, but as close as you can. Looking to get detail of the edges where there are small panels. smile
