The 109 doesn't have rudder trim. You've always got modes 2 and 3. Make mode 3 the takeoff/landing mode and change those axes around.

Yeh i need to set up my modes, atm i am just using 1 mode for all assignments, i need to sort my shiz out and get real biggrin I am only really getting into the full flying side of it lately, have been in the FMB 80% of the time since release.

My character somehow got all twisted up. I was playing the mission where you have to infiltrate the Golden Glow Estate and do multiple things. I ended up putting the flaps on the toggle 13 and 14 buttons , still works in increments on the 109 , holding the button up works the flaps up until you stop holding.Down flaps button 14 works the same.In the spit and hurri it is just a one click up or down needed.

Moved my brakes back to the u slider but you dont even need brakes with the pitch control dropped to zero , the planes slow up quicker with the pitch off and make the brakes only needed for turning.

I try never to program anything other than weapons to the Trigger. Squad m8's in front of me might not appreciate me tapping the trigger (breaks) while lining up for takeoff. wink Luckily my Saitek Pedals have toe breaks, but some Brit aircraft have the breaks on the Spade. I have the Brit breaks programmed to a button on my Hotas, but should simplify things by programming my Saitek pedals not only in the ingame Break Axis, but in its own software for the spade breaks. Unfortunately programming a key to the Saitek Pedals can be an excersise in frustration. I find some aspects of the Saitek Rudder programming less than intuitive.

The Modes for the X52/X52Pro work, but you have to run the SST software, and have the switches/buttons you want to have different modes programmed through there. The game itself reads each button whatever as the joystick button, the "modes" don't change that. What they do though, is allow the SST software to recognize different macros according to your settings. I personally found it was not worth the extra time programming with the new clickable cockpits, and haven't used the SST software for anything but setting deadzones and led brightness.
