Title says it all, gang! Any enterprising modder out there who might be planning on adding the Martin B26 Marauder to the mix?
Thanks ahead of time...

Thanks ahead of time... I've been the Official Lancaster Whiner over at the Ubi forums for about ten-years. And I finally got me one. Just keep it up, good things come to those who whine. "I want it!I want it! I want it! I want it. I want it!"

NickM, do a search for "SAS". This site is for off liners only and has many helpful folks there. I am an off liner only and I have the B-26 as a flyable in quick missions, full mission builder and in some campaigns it shows up as AI aircraft. Good luck.

Nick, then you definitely need to go to the SAS site and look into the mods available for off liners. There is a beta activator for 4.11.

Well I posted at SAS & it seems that the consensus is that B26s are not available for the 4.11m version; So I wait...

Anyway, Taxman, tell me about your install & How you got AI Marauders? Remember I am not very tech savvy. All I have is the standard IL2-1946 (and BoE) patched to the 4.11m with no other gizmoes

All I have is the standard IL2-1946 (and BoE) patched to the 4.11m with no other gizmoes Nick, I have it working in "DBW" 1.6. As of now it will not, as far as I know, work with 4.11. However there may be a version that works with 4.101 if so it should work in 4.11 but you may need a "MODDED" version of 4.11 to have the B26. You need to log on at SAS and ask your questions. If not very "tech savvy" you may want to just keep what you have for now. Ask questions and read the install instructions for all the various MODS so that you understand what it is all about. Just a note, from my reading over at the SAS site there is a group working on a one or two step install from 4.101 to DBW 1.7, right now it is quite a few steps to get there. They may be also working on 4.11 in order to bring it all together. Hope this helps.

B-26 will work on 4.11. Needs the SAS Beta buttons file for 4.11.

BTW, the 1.0-1.71 all in one version is available now at the SAS site.

Dark blue world? OK Thanks...is it something a non adept 'off line player' could make use of? Nick, yes. As I have previously posted it may be a good idea to learn on what you all ready have. However if you really what to learn about all the great stuff avaible to 'off liner' then I recommend going to 'SAS1946' if not a member register there. Once there you will find 5 areas, under Tech Help there is a "New Member Safety Area", this is a good starting point. Going further down you will find under Activators & Packs Downloads "Dark Blue World Discussions & Support" Again I do hope this helps you getting into this wonderful world of "Off Line Il2" I know that I have had great support and help from the folks at SAS1946.

[MOD]
Guys, the "Mod rule" is loose enough to where you can give installation and troubleshooting directions in detail.
You can give websites to mods, but not the mod tools; and then if it's not a "hot" link it will be okay.
www. darts-page.com is an example of this.
