A very long article that "speculates" about the new Nvidia lineup -- supposedly based on "moles" at Nvidia who have provided info (at least that's the story and is probably true).
In a nutshell, Nvidia is going towards a design more like AMDs shader design. The first Kepler rumored to cost about $300 will be great in some games tailored for it (namely those with Phys-X -- the article says there are not many Phys-X titles in the pipeline) and so-so in others -- but, not real bad for the money. The article discusses the way Nvidia and AMD imbed their programmers at game-developers to get the code optimized for their cards.
"...When Kepler is released, you can reasonably expect extremely peaky performance. For some games, specifically those running Nvidia middleware, it should fly. For the rest, performance is likely to fall off the proverbial cliff. Hard. So hard that it will likely be hard pressed to beat AMD’s mid-range card..."
Kepler 104 Rumor We'll see in April/May, according to the article. Hope it works well enough to lower AMD prices

In any case, competition is good
