definitely gonna aim for the XFX 900Mhz Edition ($499.99), hopefully they aren't sold out by time my tax return is here.

i wonder if they are flashable to 7970 :P as the XFX has a Dual BIOS.

the only thing im skeptical about is the 3 slot design...

otherwise I'll prolly be dropping my Tax return on a 7950 XFX, whether its the 800Mhz or 900Mhz version I'll have to see as the Overclocked is already sold out...

Im sure I can OC the 800Mhz one to about 1Ghz though.

Have you tried Tigerdirect?

Last time I checked, they had both XFXs in stock. Shipping was free. But I am not sure whether you'd have to pay sales tax or not.
