The 'turret' scene of Cameron's movie is fantastic. The video didn't do it for me. I think the difference is that the protagonists didn't actually sit at the turrets and shoot aliens alongside it. They were in the command centre (correct spelling!) watching the ammunition dwindle down to (practically) nothing. As an audience, you knew that the turrets were going to be the most accurate & lethal device they could deploy save a nuke, and yet the xenos
almost made it through. Personally think I would enjoy a 'commanding' style gameplay in that scene a lot better than simply shooting alongside the turrets. But that's just me.
Having APCs & powerloaders in the same room is a bit too cheesy to me... I smelt a setpiece a mile away...
The rhino alien is kinda cool - although they will only appear in setpieces. Lighting was just about right, and their mapmaking looks fantastic - I'm not 100% sold on the actual graphics however. Animations will be improved upon I hope! Drones didn't feel all that lethal in the video - there was a point where the player ignored being slashed at by a drone to help clear the powerloader... not cool. The marines gestures & mannerisms sounded 'modern' to me. Not cool 80s stereotypical like I would have expected

Overall - not sure I'll get it unless the reviews are positive...
