Is that stick a real one or something? Are you trying to put that onto the WH stick base?

Looking at the teensy it seems to be a development board and the only USB HID supported that is useful to you is they keyboard interface which means you are going to have to map all of your buttons to keyboard presses.

I think it is preferable to use one of the other USB game controllers like leo bodnars or a uhid nano etc. You would not house it inside the stick, it would just be in a little black box closer to the computer. So you run your wires from the stick to the controller somewhere else and then plug that in.

Just brought it frown

I think it should be good enough though, I can programme it think its a joypad and it shouldn't cause any problems.

If it doesn't work I will have to use your suggestion biggrin

The clues in my name JG52, a luftwaffe squad and the stick is a replica of the ones used in the 109, 190 and 110 biggrin

Notice that Teensy with Arduido software (Teensyduino) have configuration to USB joystick capable to handle:
32 buttons
6 analog axis (10 bits)
1 HAT switch

Nice tiny board, and inexpensive.

Yeah, it seems perfect for me. I have no idea about programming and they have done all the leg work... My only problem is the wiring I still am not sure which wire does what but today I will be dusting off my old mans old multimeter and hopefully can find out biggrin

Programn chips is easy, like to record a CD/DVD, just download the files (firmware) and follow instructions.
I already (write) programn in some ATMEGA chips (Mjoy's).

The wires in this KG-13 handles is two for each button (8 wires) or four wire plus one common?

Four wires plus one common, I believe.
