So the series what is it? Well all you do is this: you put your name up, i enter it into the game, and that is it, the AI sim the race whilst i commentate over the livestream broadcast! simple as that, its you vs everyone else who enters! No need to drive yourself as the computer does it for you all you need to do is turn up at the races or watch the broadcast which will be stored on Livestream.
MORE INFO BELOW AND VIDEO!
New update can be seen below, also post up any questions you have or simply just post up and you will be signed up but read the info in the post below!

Further Update: okay the team owners is a provisional idea, so, i may change that as and when i want, so no team owners will be appointed for season 1 so just put your names down and i will randomly generate a drive for you, by giving each of you a number which i will get someone to randomly call out numbers (thats already sorted).
Im running this over on fb aswell, and the entry list so far is as follows
1 Pumbaa 2 Chad Dunbar 3 Alex Young 4 Bruce Halling 5 Steven Hill (me) 6 Pete Lacy 7 Mark Fleming 8 Stephen Brookes 9 Saghen 10 Alex Coutie 11 Stewart Forgie 12 Darren Blythe 13 Doug Atkinson 14 Caroline Dunstan 15 Richard J Terry 16 Brian Hudak 17 Bret Rowlinson 18 Pur O'Lator 19 Becki Boiling Hamilton 20 Lee Paul Grange 21 Seductively Saucy Minxie 22 H Donaldson
Any vacant seats at the beginning of season 1 i will fill with random real named drivers, however they aren't able to win the title and will be classified in a seperate table. A real member is able to join and replace a place filler at ANY point in the season.

okay people, Doug has kindly stickyed this, so heres the deal:
whats going to happen is, the manager side of this is now going to be eliminated i think (but will be kept as backup) i will run the series in Geoffs GP3 for season 1.
Points = Current F1 points system Bonus points worth 2pts each = Pole Position, Fastest Lap and the driver who makes the most places up on his qualy position. Super Points = 10pts awarded to a driver IF they go the entire season without a retirement.
Penalties = At the discretion of a designated official, most likely me, im hoping to get someone to act as the race steward or FIA, penalties will be enforced, IF you are deemed to cause an accident a 25 second race time penalty will be added to your final race time. If it is deemed its such a huge failing on your part Disqualification may also be an option, but only in extreme cases.
Team battles will be kept track of, aswell as profiles updated with career points, podiums, fastest laps, poles and wins.
All i ask is you just keep tabs on the season as it unfolds, and make a post here and there, feel free to post mock up interviews/driver chat stuff as the season progresses, this is not essential by any means but if you have that creative flow then by all means unleash
At the end of each season i will get each of you to vote for who you think was the best driver on the grid for any reasons, sort of a "Drivers, driver of the year award" (keep votes to yourselves )
The World Champion gets to pick his drive the next season, as does the "Drivers, driver of the year award" winner.
There is also the dubious honour of being declared "The Mobile Chicane of the year" this goes to the person who is voted by you guys for being the slowest or has the most retirements OR a combination of the both.
Season 1 as i have already stated will be run using Geoff Crammonds GP3 because i know it works where as GP4 is a little tempramental sometimes. Season 2 however WILL be run using Geoff Crammonds GP4, which then means Geoff Crammonds GP3 will be used as the feeder series, i may utilise a "Promotion/Relegation" system like the english football leagues use where the bottom 4 go down and the top 4 in the lower division go up.
As i have said, its no commitment except sign up and check in as to how you are doing who knows you might just be the next world champion

Okay ladies and gents, here is the deal, i've decided tonight will be the night rather than leave it waiting, so after my dinner, i will be broadcasting the first race, if it doesnt broadcast right away, it is recorded so i will resort to plan B and just upload the replay of the race. To broadcast you will have to put up with watching me on the desktop booting the game up and such but when it kicks into action all will be fine in the event of a possible crash, the race will be re-run at a later date.
Because this is a live broadcast i won't be able to apply the intro like i did on the recorded broadcasts, but, there will be live updates here as i also have a laptop running alongside my main PC, so if you can't watch video feed for whatever reason there will be updates on overtakes, retirements and key moments.
The ingame director mode, aka their tv mode, seems to do what ITV did and just focus mainly on race leaders so if the race leader disappears off in front i will manually take over the directing, thus being able to focus on battles further down the field.
There is however a slight glitch in the face that if a car pits it automatically switches to cockpit cam, unfortunatly there isn't anything i can do to prevent that so i may cut away from the pitting car.
The nice touch about this however is the fact that after Qualy, when advancing to race i can manually scroll through the grid with 2D side on views of everyones car which looks brilliant! So before the race it gives me a chance to run through the grid!
Apologies for the sudden decision to run it tonight but i have realised my times are a bit cramped next week when i intended on running the first race, i will however aim to do 2 races a week if possible, if not there will always be 1 race a week!
