Is it better than Falcon 4.0: AF? Is it better graphics, playability, action, what?

Freefalcon is a mod for Falcon 4.0. You can use either the original F4 or AF disc to install it.
Check out this youtube of FF 5.5.3

BMS is another free mod that's been released lately. Check out this promo vid. You need the original F4 to install this.

FF = more flyable aircraft, more theatres, unstable MP.
BMS = updated graphic effects, stunning 3D pit (almost on par with DCS), better avionics. As it's a newer release it doesn't have as many compatible theatres but that's been worked on by the community. Rock solid MP code.
AF = better campaign. Rock solid MP code.

Check out this thread.

FreeFalcon 5 is not just a mod, it is a stand alone free game to download and play.

You don't need original Falcon or AF disc to play FreeFalcon.

However Af and BMS are far more stable, and BMS is specifically designed for modern computers and the latest versions of Windows, so if you have a decent rig, I'd recommend BMS.

Concure w/the above. BMS if you're system is near top flight, otherwise its Allied Force.
FreeFalcon5 is too sensitive to driver issues and for the most part- its really good for CTD practice.
Even the forum admins tell me they have CTD about 6 times a week. So that pretty much means every time they start the program.
