Congrats to my 777 Studios team! Rise of Flight: The First Great Air War was voted one of the top 100 PC Games of all time by PC Gamer magazine. ROF came in at #47 in the March 2012 issue. Nice to have our hard work recognized by the biggest gaming magazine on the planet.

http://www.pcgamer-magazine.com/pcgamer/201203?sub_id=BcMsyr4F2TpG3#pg1

Other gamers and haters will disagree no doubt, but we don't care. Lists like this can be argued about forever, but it's an achievement for our little sim and we like it.

Congratulations everyone at 777. I'm sure it is just a short stop on the way up the list!
Too bad I cannot read the article...

EDIT: Thanks Laser, I was just about to link to the official forum where it is also posted.

Well done.
Funny how three of my favourite games are on the same page.. iRacing @ #39 ROF @ 47 then Company of Heroes @ 51. Heck I think they should be # 1,2,3. : )

Not bad, beating out Bioshock, GTA4, MoH:AA, MechWarrior 2, and COH. Those are some popular and quality games.

Congratulations Jason and 777!

In the upper half of that list is a big feat. Just being on the list is an achievement, especially for a flightsim..!

That must be PC Gamer USA I take it because Assassins Creed Brotherhood is no 47 in the UK Edition.
Unfortunately Rise Of Flight does not figure in the UK magazines best ever 100 games list whilst things(?) like Masq, VVVVVV. Braid, Omsi and Spelunky do.
IL2 Sturmovik, Red Baron, FSX and Bob2 are the Flight Sims mentioned in the UK's top 100.

Looks like Rise Of Flight still needs a bit more (well deserved) publicity in the UK.

PC Pilot gives Rise Of Flight plenty of good publicity but the likes of PC Gamer, PC Format & Custom PC basically seem toignore the flight sim genre.
Maybe few more ads or something in some of these magazines might help to gain awareness.

Advertising has nothing to do with it unfortunately. It's purely up to the staff. ROF has never gotten much love from the PC Gamer UK staff even though we have tried.

PC Pilot articles are the best.

Bravo! yep Well done to the whole staff of 777, and it must be great to see your work recognised in this way. Absolutely well deserved and I am very happy for you all!
