Hi guys,

After being away from flight sims for some 8 years I decided to buy Cliffs of Dover. I knew beforehand CoD has some problems, and indeed I could see them even sooner than expected. This is the first thing I saw after booting it:

Is this a known issue? Any way to fix this?

Thanks and Regards,
MPortus

Hi MPortus,

Easy fix; just unclick Epilepsy Filter in your Options menu.

You can also go to conf.ini and change the default to DX10_1 from DX_10_0 (if your computer supports it). This worked for me.

Turn off the Epilepsy filter. It's also a fps hog so you should get a nice boost. Also I would recommend disabling the UBI splash screen. There's instructions to do that somewhere...

Disabling the intro movie (C:\...\Steam\Steamapps\Common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover\parts\core\gui Logo.wmv) only is a fix for ATI cards, however, it's nice to get on with the game without having to watch that everytime.
