Excellent interactive (A10-style) training missions from BigfootMSR :
KA-50 Black Shark 2 Training missions

Hi Bigfoot,
I made a package that unifies all your BS2 trainings that are available up to now in one package that will integrate the lessons into the Menu of BS2.

Preview:

BS2 menu integration for Interactive Training by BigfootMSR

This pack will integrate all interactive missions into the training menu of BS2.

Simply copy the "Training" folder into your BS2 installation folder. (and allow to integrate/overwrite if you are updating)

Example path >> G:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS Black Shark 2

This will add two new categories:

Update :

Now the Training missions are complete:
BigfootMSR has release the "Datalink and Wingman" mission.

Download the complete package:

Missions that are included:

1.'Interactive: Aircraft Operation'

>Aircraft Start-up
>En-Route Navigation Training
>ABRIS AMMS Overview
>ABRIS Advanced Training

2.'Interactive: Combat Employment'

>Weapon_Employment
>Counter measure training
>Datalink and Wingman

Now you can start these excellent training missions by using the "Training" menu button.

If you are updating > just simply let windows overwrite and replace the old "Training" folder in your BS2 install.

Valuable info for those that have difficulties activating the triggers in the ABRIS lessons:

I have noticed that the buttons seem to trigger better when you are zoomed in on the ABRIS and not adjusting your view. So, don't use the trackIR(I had to stow mine for these) Pressing and holding the mouse button and making small circles over the button will get them to trigger as well. This is a strange problem with black shark and not the triggers themselves however.

Sorry, No.

BS1 doesn't support this trigger system for the cockpit that allows you to highlight the switches.

These are great BTW. I played through them last night. They are nice and short, which make them perfect for refresher if you've been away from the sim at all.

Hello guys,
Sorry, I forgot how to get these mission downloads working in the sim. I have the zipped folder named "Weapon Employment" downloaded to my documents. Where do I go from there? Seem to remember something about renaming a file to .miz?

Sure could use this training help, kinda rusty.

download the file from the site. If its named .zip, just rename it to .miz Then load it up under missions in black shark... should work that way.

Thanks, BigfootMSR. Not sure why it's still not working. For example, I downloaded a folder (not file) called "Cold Start Up.zip". It contained some .ogg files, mission, options, and warehouse (no extensions). I tried renaming the folder "Cold Start Up.miz". It was not recognized in game.

I tried unzipping the folder and renaming it "Cold Start Up.miz". Also not recognized.

I tried adding .miz to Mission (file), this did not work either. What am I missing? Thank you for the help!

Forgot to say, I did move the folder to "Missions" Folder in Black Shark 2 Folder.

Edit Reason: Moving Folder in game

Sorry its taken so long to get back to you JimD... What version of Black Shark are you running? The missions I have made are for version 1.1.1.1. If your running an earlier version the mission wont work.

Ok, just checked to make sure. It's Black Shark 2 version 1.1.1.1 Guess I'm lost on exactly what to rename. (One of the files in the folder, all of the files, or just the folder name?)
