I haven't played ROF for several months. I recently built a new computer and moved my old HD with Windows 7 and all programs intact and unchanged to the new computer. I have made not changes to any of the files for ROF. Tonight I tried to start ROF and tried to update it from the one listed "neoqb server 1" and it says that it failed to update and to see the update log. I found the log file in the \data folder and it's very long; here is the first part of it:

What do I need to do? Any help is appreciated. I posted this on the main ROF forum and have not received any answers.

One option, you could download the latest demo and the skin packs from the "Useful material" page, install them and use your account to log in (which unlocks all your purchased content). The demo being the full game. As somebody did answer in the other forum, maybe you have problems due to a too old updater. HTH

Thanks Lazar, I found the answer last night... OK, I didn't see the sticky about this very problem on the ROF main forum.. Under the Tech section, "Updating and copying the game" they have a fix for this. But If, following the instructions, you simply unzip the dl file into the main game folder it may not work; I had to unzip it and tehn copy the files into the same name game folders to get it to work, but it finally is OK after a very slow dl last night of the update files.
