I received my new RC heli yesterday, A Double Horse 9104 single blade.

http://www.amazon.com/Double-Horse-9104-...1086&sr=8-1

(not my video)

I only had one flight with it but I'm already happy with the purchase. Its basically the Syma S032 with 10x the speed, agility and control. Taking me a little getting used to but I'm glad I went this route as I can't imagine smashing a much nicer more expensive RC heli!

I'll try and give more impressions as I go possibly even a video if I can get my wife to film.

Should have my replacement S022 Chinook coming soon, that one is fun! In all cases the fun to cost ratio is outstanding I spend $60 shipped on the DH 9104 and $40 on the S022 Chinook (both were with gift money). I'm starting to get a bug. Must get a FPV airplane!

I've got a bad feeling about this.....

I was considering the DH9104 but I think it's only 3 channel and I really wanted 4. If you look about the net you can find videos where they make some modifications to that helo to get better control and performance.

This one looks like it might be a little more durable than the NineEagles S-Pro V2, it also looks like it's more compatible with other batteries that use the male mini connector. It's certainly cheaper in cost.

same as this one, probably the same brand re-packaged
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...TF_Mode_1_.html
it uses a similar battery type except it has a connector instead of two rails and comes with a cord to use a usb port for charging. If you break all these helicopters down, take off the shell, they almost look identical but the transmitter for the Nine Eagles/Revell is much better; it has dual rates, trim, LCD panel indicators and is switchable from Mode 1 to mode 2 (reverse stick assignments)and only takes four batteries instead of six

heres a vid of that helo

there are more but this one shows close up of the play in the rotor head, not trying to talk you out of it but you should look at some of the videos posted for the various brands and see what you can expect from it, the Xieda is made by Great Wall. Most if not all of these are made in China and there are a wide variation in quality between them.

I'm not going to purchase it, already have the Nine Eagles S-Pro V2 which is all I need for a mini 4 channel. Especially after I found stronger replacement skids and changed the battery connector to allow the same type of batteries as my UM T-28 and Su26XP.

Just found it while killing time at work, so put it up in case anyone was looking for a cheaper model - although if the Tx/Rx and frame are comparatively shoddy then the Nine Eagles is probably a better purchase.

Hi all,

Still been looking for something that's available in the UK but that's a bit more advanced than the Syma helicopters, and found this. Even though it's IR only it looks like it's a 4 channel fixed-pitch, so should be a little more advanced.

Wondered if anybody had any thoughts?
