These drivers are really good for Mafia II, IL-2 with the older OpenGL DLL, and IL-2: Cliff of Dover. I haven't tested with Skyrim, Rise of Flight, Just Cause 2 or BF3 yet though...

Thanks for the heads up. I downloaded and installed. Parenthetically, just yesterday, I downloaded and installed the official 12.1 -- it worked.

To install 12.2, I had to first uninstall the previous driver (12.1 official driver). I uninstalled using the AMD 12.2 preview package uninstall feature -- so no big deal.

12.2 preview gave me no problems and runs Skyrim in Eyefinity normally. Eyefinity setup was already very easy, but it seems a touch easier with 12.2 (hard to improve on).

Does 12.2 offer support for mixed resolution across three screens when gaming?

I can't really tell, I have 3x 1920x1080 monitors and in "Extended" non-Eyefinity mode it lets me set different resolutions for each one of them fine, but then when I create an Eyefinity group it seems to create it out of the native resolution.

Looking at the feature highlights it doesn't seem like that is one of the features listed so you will probably need to hear from someone with different monitor resolutions:
Quote:
Feature highlights of the AMD Catalyst™ 12.2 driver:

AMD Eyefinity 2.1 technology enhancements
Additional resolution support: Users can now choose from a larger set of resolutions when running AMD Eyefinity
Dynamic Configuration Changes: Switching between different display configurations will occur automatically when physically plugging/un-plugging displays
HydraVision™ enhancements: The Windows Task bar can now be moved and resized based on users preference
Profile Manager improvements: Increased support for Display Groups (including 5x1) and Extended configurations within the Profile Manager

I do like the new ability to "Position the Windows Taskbar" on the center monitor even when in Eyefinity mode it will come in handy when exiting in and out of games I play in Eyefinity mode also the options of another lower eyefinity resolution (5760x1080 or 4800x900 or 3840x720) I may try it with games that previously exceeded the 1GB VRAM on my 5870s with AA on.
