If it plays like RO1 I am sure there will be a nice player base. If it is RO2: Pacific, I doubt I will play it much. Considering this has the help of TWI, I will assume it will just be RO2 in the Pacific.

Sadly I think Iron Front (WWI) is never going to come out. That really only leaves In Country: Vietnam as the only hope for RO1 fans.

Rising Storm will rule...I am SO getting that. You're right about the bugs, there are still a few but the major ones have largely been addressed. There's still a lot of work to be done on the tanking aspect of the game but I'm sure that will get dealt with this year. Oh and Flogger, TWI is busy taking suggestions about how to make an "RO-classic" game mode that will attempt to re-create RO1 in RO2. I'll be keeping SimHQ updated on that over in my RO2 News thread.

The UDK was released about a month ago. You don't really think a mod is created in a month, right? The only thing they could do is create textures and static meshes. All the hard stuff like rigging and coding come afterwards, which takes a long time when everyone is volunteering their time.
