I will keep this up until the end of the month. I took a good look at the thread and these are the choices I think will garner the most interest.
Vote (and give an opinion if you like) and we'll see if your choice makes it!

Maybe do a conflict in Central or South America? Or maybe on the African continent?
Just a thought.

I voted North Sea, but they all sound good, really. As far as fictional goes, I have to say that Paran/Dhimar has been the favorite terrain for my custom campaigns. I guess it's a literal sandbox for whatever type conflict you want it to be.

Voted North Sea, hope to fly from the Netherlands. Plus there are three Starfighter(my favourite) users nearby.

North Sea
Fictional would also be nice though. Maybe a more jungle-like and south american style environment?

Just curious - North Sea will have to be big, but Far East won't? Voted Far East, though North Sea wou;d be great also.

Far East would be roughly between a 2000 X 2000 km map and a stock one.

Would the far east have underground airbases (used in China)?

Would the a Far East campaign include the involvement of North Korea AF and/or a fight for Taiwan as I'm sure China would see this as a great opportunity to invade.

No. Primorksi Krai, Khabarovski Krai, Sakhalinskaya, Hokkaido, and Shenyang Province.
That's about the only way to make it accurate in scale.

I voted Far East, but I'd also like to suggest South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and perhaps Mozambique and Malawi. And a Border War campaign. South African Air Force Mirages downed an acknowledged 13 Mig-21's, and another 13 that were not acknowledge because the kills occurred in somebody else's air space and admitting to them would have caused an international incident. It would make a great SF2 campaign and we have the necessary aircraft available. Dead last choice would be fictional. I don't think anyone is over-fond of fictional settings. Cheers! Rick...

North Sea would be great but lacks the cold war "red side". I voted for Far East.
As someone else mentioned before, it would be great if there was an african or a latin america terrain. Just imagine flying Mirages F.1 or Migs-21/23 in the south african conflicts!

Maybe that'll come later, because I have some good ideas about that one.

Very cool -- I lived there for 10+ years in the Russian Far East. Good chance to bomb my old apartment.
So what will the conflict be? Chinese invasion of Russia? Russia vs Japan (and NATO)?
