I know its dangerous on my SR... but think I will do the multi-class races... Stang and Ford GT... I like the track selections.

Likewise.. i gave last season a miss but im up for running this season and i think i will make it multi class for a bit of variety.. that OR the indycars road series..

Hmmm I think I will stay away from road. However I like the NASCAR East series. I might make that my series this year. Looks fun.

I'm feeling the same way about oval... you would think ovals are easier... but I'm always a half second off, and almost always, thou overly careful, taken out... I find road courses easier and I'm more even in skill.

Yeah I know the feeling. I just dont have the time to make setups. I was going to try the trucks fixed but the east series looks like it could be a fun. I wish they would make the fixed series 75% of the open sereis lenght instead of 50%. With out that pit stop its just not as fun.

I haven't decided yet but I'm thinking about running the Grand Touring Cup. If I do, it'll be in the MX5.

I'm also considering getting back to my short track roots and running the NASCAR Late Model series. And, aside from the Charlotte track, I like the NASCAR East schedule too. 9 of the 12 races are under the lights! Wish we knew what days the East series was running.

My time is limited though, so I've got to decide which two. I've withdrawn my entry from another league that I was planning to run so I could get back to some "official" series races and work on bettering my poor excuse for an iRating!

Of course as long as SimHQ is running iRacing events, I'm there!

Just turned some laps in both the Late Model and the '09 Impala. Like 'em both. Which just makes the decision harder....

I hear ya there I love both but I want to be in on the east series. I hope they change it for season 2 to have cautions but both are awesome series. I think the east will be less populated and its a fixed series where as the Late Model is open.

I've decided to run the Late Model Series. I miss the short tracks. So for season 1 I plan to do Late Models and the Grand Touring Cup in the MX5.

Anybody else here going to run either of these?

I'm thinking of running the mx5 in the grand touring cup Lowell. Going to be taking part in the mustang series too.

I need to take part in a series that isn't going to cost me too much extra bucks and as i already have most of the tracks and cars for the grand touring series i may join you in that.. If you fancy some practice Paul shoot me a message.

Will do mate, i'm intent on learning to master the mx5 as much as i can. Hopefully the mustang NTM will be out soon too.

ok.. after testing the Ford GT after the new build i am definately doing the Fixed Prototype and GT challenge. The GT is much easier to handle and i feel confident i can complete a multi class race without binning it.. nice improvement.

I'm thinking about crossing over into the dark side. Testing my lack of skills of turning right.

I just had a couple of hours trying out the Dallara and the Ford GT with the idea that i would run either the multiclass fixed championship with the GT or the fixed setup with the dallara..

The multiclass was a real eye opener. I jumped onto a server that had 32 people running. Most of them were running the HPD but with a significant few running both the chevy and the ford.. It was a total c**pshoot.. I spent most of the time dodging speeding HPD's and being scared s**tless by the new spotter orders "SLOW CAR, STAY LEFT!".. Im not sure my ability stretches to a full grid of that.

Instead i think i will run the fixed indycar road series.. the car is ace and i won't get the bejebus scared out of me so much! My old ticker can only take so much.

But...but...but....it's only driving in circles!! Don't you love it when people say that? LOL

Lol Ark! Yeah I have tons of conversations at work about that same issue. Normally it goes how hard is it to turn left? I do it everyday when I go home....! LOL
