Guys i can buy brand new racing car seat for a good price, i planning to build it on platform with a mechanism to tilt it between the "f16" angle, for use with the side stick and the "normal" angle for use in A10 /helicopter mode (central stick) and car mode.
Is someone of you using a Racing seat in his own fighter cockpit? Did you have to cut the center part of the seat or just a good positioning of the center stick is OK?

Any suggestion is welcome

"Brand new" and "good price" may not necessarily come together. I got myself a basic pair of reclining bucket seats for £90, so at £45 a-piece, I'm very happy with it. I have it on a center-stick configuration for DCS A10C, though a side-stick config would be easily done with a TM Warthog as well. I did not cut out the front of the seat, so the WH is a bit of a reach for me, but with a joystick extender, it's no problem.

The top of the WH stick base is level with the top of the seat (forward-most bit of the seat), then I have metalnwood's joystick extender which is about 5.5inches.

I'm using a race car seat in my rig, which is convertible to race mode in a matter of a few minutes.

I run a side stick setup for all my flight ops because that's what I prefer regardless of whatever air/spacecraft I'm flying. With a bit of ingenuity, a center stick setup could certainly be made to work without modifying the seat.
