Could someone help me please? I have about 6 different versions of IL2FB on my computer now. Ultrapack, HSFX, 4.10, 4.11 etc.

and I just got a new hotas setup. So I bind the key settings and hotas settings in "controls" in 4.11. My question is,

Is there an INI file or some file where these settings/bindings are saved? That way I can just copy it to the game folders of the

other versions I have saving me a lot of time, rather than having to rebind everthing in each one. Please tell me the name of the file.

I believe that you can find what you are looking for in your Users folder under whatever name you have given your pilot. The file you'll need is the one named "settings".

Once you get it to your liking I suggest that you do one or both of the following. Back up the default file and copy that file with your preferrd setup to all your pilots .. including the default. That way if you ever accidentally hit the reset to default button in the controls menu .. wink Also make it a read only file. Now of course if you have to change the settings you will have to change that but this insures tat once you get it the way you like it it stays that way.. Also if you use rudder pedals go to the brakes line in in your users settings file:

[HotKey move]
AXE_RX JoystickDevice1=trimelevator
AXE_RY JoystickDevice1=trimaileron
AXE_RZ JoystickDevice2=rudder
AXE_RZ JoystickDevice1=trimrudder
AXE_U JoystickDevice1=pitch
AXE_U JoystickDevice0=-radiator
AXE_X JoystickDevice2=brakes
AXE_X JoystickDevice0=aileron
AXE_Y JoystickDevice0=elevator
AXE_Z JoystickDevice1=-power

It will either say X or Y depending on which pedal you pressed in the HOTAS set up for your brakes. Which ever one it says add the other line. In this case above it says AXE X JoystickDevice2=brakes.... so you would add:

AXE_Y JoystickDevice2=brakes

just under the line that is there.

If it said Y add X. This will basically simulate differential braking.. After you do this make the file a read only file again so it will not automatically reset to the deault setting of just one axis. Works like a charm.
