Hi guys!

I have a fully functioning Il-2 4.09m with UP 2.01. and Tiger Sound.
When I install 4.10, the game won't start.

Any thoughts or fixes, or do I have to read all the documentation again?

Hi,
based on my experiences, you should start from a clean install, especially if you have older UP installed.
Backup config files (save control setup ones too, its under users).
Uninstall and delete everything, install IL2.
If you need UP, patch it up to 4.10.1 only, and then install UP 3.0 (+UP RC4 fix). UP is not compatible with 4.11 yet.

I also have a backup copy of a clean IL2 install patched to 4.10, which can speed up the reinstall process...:)

I believe UP 2.01 only works with 4.09. That may explain why your game won't start.

Just deleted my old Il-2 installation,- almost 50.000 files!!

This must be one of the most modded games ever.

And the new installation gonna be even bigger with UP 3.0 and DBW!
