I'm looking for some assistance in how to get EECH to work with my Radeon Eyefinity triple screen setup. I have seen some screenshots on various posts of triple screens in use, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to configure the game to make it work for me. I am running the 1.14 mod and it works just fine up to 1920x1080, but I can't find anywhere in the eech.ini or in the game menus to move beyond that resolution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm fresh out of ideas... and beer... so something has to give!

From what I know if it is in fact even possible it would ONLY be at a rez of 1920x480.. I have never seen triplescreen screenshots of EECH ever, you have any links??

From what I know it just is not possible..now EE2 is different story as that works in Triplescreen..

Dredging through my memory, there is a limitation for Direct X 7, which is (if I remember correctly) what EECH is coded for.

The limitation for Direct X7 is something like a maximum of 2048 pixels in one plane, so horizontal or vertical. So you should be able to run 3 screens, but only as long as the total resoulition across the three screens is less than 2048 (3 screens at 640 x 480, for example - which would be 1920 x 480).

I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

yes that is it but EECH does not have that rez ingame?? Now I can not look as my 3 screen system is in the shop but I can check when I get my rig back and running.. I have EECH and will see if those resolutions are there or perhaps one can edit the ini file??

I know you can run Triplescreen in F/A-18 but the TSH Guys added that rez with their mods not sure if the EECH Guys did??

That makes sense. I used to have a TH2G, but got rid of it because most of the other sims I fly all support higher resolutions through Eyefinity. So I'll just have to fly EECH on a single screen until some newer AH-64 sim comes out... cause I just can't step back to a 480 resolution!

Well the hope for triplkescreensupport lies with "Combat Helo" it has native triple screen support.. check the Combat helo forums there is a screenshot altho it may be buried in there..

Yeah, I've been following the progress on Combat Helo... that's what made me start longing for some Apache stick time and had me digging through boxes looking for my EECH disks. It is looking to be a fantastic game... I'm just impatient...

Try this.

Delete your game.cfg and eech.ini files in the Razorworks/cohokum directory. After deleting, restart the game and those files will be regenerated. You should notice the game attempting to test various resolutions as it prepares to load. There should now be various new resolution options, including triplescreen (if you have a triplehead or eyefinity setup). Deleting the game.cfg file is the key.

Well having too have to try this I am going to have to say TripleScreen will NOT work with EECH.. I could select the 2048 Rez and restart the game but the game does NOT start in that rez..I justr get 3 Blank screen have to CTR ALT Delete the game to end process..

I am Afraid you will either have to get EE2 Which Does Have Triplehead support or at least it does work in Triplescreens or wait till CombaT helo gets released..

I tried this awhile back too, and discovered the limitations of resolutions within directx7.
I wonder, and maybe the coders can answer this, if it is possible to convert the game or code to a more recent version of directx. My guess is this has been already ruled out due to some limitation or else it would have already been done.
But.... the rumor of EECH2 was that it was a modified version of the original, so is it possible?
