1. Anyone know the release date for this one?

2. Will it have that character carry over from 2... like 2 did from 1?

3. If so... how is that going to work if your a female now, since thiers a female shepard now?

4. And not a question... but i want to go back and play 2 again, before 3 comes out... i finished 2 but long before all the DLC came out. wink

5. And it's 4 player co-op..seperate from the SP campaign/story.. or either or like GoW3?

6. And will we be able to have girl on gorl action? lol wink jk

About the only thing in the news was, that it'll be EA's Origin exclusive.

1. March 6 in US, EU get it on the 9th.

2. Yes.

3. Probably as usual, you will import your character and choices, and you can (probably) change your appearence if you want to or not.

4. DO IT!!!! smile

5. They answered everything here.

6. I have no idea what a "gorl" is biggrin , but you could have some girl on girl with Liara wink And yes, you can have girl on girl action in ME 3, and the other side of the coin as well (don't bother me, but nothing I will engage in), and as always, it's optional.

1) Release is supposed to be March 6 if I am correct.

2) All ME2 saves carry over to ME3. If you didn't play ME1/2 first, you're doing it wrong.

3) In ME2 you could change your character's looks in the beginning, but not undergo a sex change. So if your character in ME1/2 was female, it will likely be female only in ME3. Likewise, if your character was male if will be male only in ME3. I have two profiles with of each sex as it opens some new dialogue options.

5) The co-op affects the ME3 story, but you don't play as Shepard and the missions are co-op specific.

My female Shepard from ME1/2:

I am not sure which profile I will play first in ME3.

I didn't like the game play mechanics of 1... so will start new tomorrow with ME2 and all the DLC. (which is combined within the story, right?)

I wonder if i could fight the urge and hold off on 3 for 6 months or so. lol

You can play the dlcs within the story, the Shadowbroker will be unlocked when you can travel to Illium. Have not played the latest one but it will be unlocked after the Horizon-mission. I have no idea about the others.

Is it a new engine or a modified ME2 one?

I liked ME2, but ME1 was better. Aside from the combat and graphics. I hope ME3 will combine the best of both and not end up as a glorified shooter.

It should be the same engine as the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2.

I prefer the combat & graphics of ME2, with the planet missions/exploration of ME1. And please no planet scanning! A multi-gagillion dollar company gets me to save the universe, cant they do the planet survey and weapon/tech R&D for me?
