Reminds me of that LOTR piece in geekspeak. Anyone have access to that?

LOL, I do this on regular basis with my residents. They consider it an emergency and
call my emergency cell when they loose the internet. Have gotten to the point I stop them
and ask them if they have done exactly what this is about. And before long they come back,
gotta remember they may have internet but no cordless phone. Success, was just so easy
they can share it with there neighbors. Nope, to stupid for that.

Jello salad, YUCK. Should see the junk we get for Christmas from some of these old timers.
Received some cookies one year and they looked good, that was deceiving for sure. Sour Kraut
in them. YUCK.

I found out that I also have to remove the cable to get a proper reset of my router.

An excellent piece of prose.

Due to a still unknown cause, I end up having to do this almost every other day. Then there was the time when Virgin's UK service farted, and after eight tries I finally resigned myself to... the horror... a day without the internet.

Poor guy. Next think he knows, he'll be fixing a noisy washing machine or broken vacuum, washing the family dogs, saving the princess' stupid cat from the very top of a tree, fetching her auntie from the airport, the list goes on and on. All started from fixing a computer that didn't work as it should. We, the triumphant cyber warriors, are exalted knights in one or two weeks; to be some glorified maids in no time flat. Only when the girlfriend and I agreed to break up I could finally be free from their evil grip.
