(A drop in the bucket compared to some…yes..LOL..) My first post at SimHQ on March 26, 2001: Through the years I've learned a lot here. Shared a lot. Met some really fine people that I wouldn't otherwise have met. I've argued with some of you. Banned myself once. Got asked to write articles (flattering) which led to an editor contacting me and getting the opportunity to write for a glossy mag. I've asked a million questions and had a million and one answered. I've been through bad times, good times, gotten married, had a kid. I've posted a zillion pictures of vacations - because I love photography and I love traveling. I've posted another zillion photos and stories of flying - because I love aviation and I love sharing that with others. I've posted another zillion screenshots of all the sims I love. Longbow, EECH, Falcon, LOMAC, JF-15, JF-18, FSX, X-Plane, FC1, FC2, BS1, BS2, DCS A-10, EF2K, TAW, SF2, etc..etc.. I've played some non-flight sims too - Steel Beasts, ARMA, Dangerous Waters. Dabbled in racing (high adrenaline) with rFactor and enjoyed some unforgettable moments on the track with Jens, 20mm, Doug, and Chunx. Though my posting has tailed off a bit with our new addition, I still frequent the site many times a day, and it keeps me occupied when I'm out running around the country and sitting in FBOs with nothing to do. The future? More DCS stuff. Hardcore simmers should be in ecstasy with DCS - it is truly spectacular stuff. More traveling now that Kai is getting mobile. More photos of Marisa in a bikini (yes/no?)..? Probably going to get unassed and write the book I've been dreaming about writing for years. More fishing with my Dad. More hiking with my wife and son. More "us" time. I'd love to meet more of you in person when I'm out roaming the country. I feel like I have close friends here that I know would be a blast to get together with. Anyway - thanks for all the site has given to me. Chris "BeachAV8R" Frishmuth

Beach, congratulations on your 20k milestone. You are without a doubt a pillar of the SimHQ community and your writeups on Black Shark and other flight sims have been immensely outstanding reads for me.
