As most of you regular members know I am the tactics and officer safety instructor for my department... well my wife got me a small clip on HD camera for X-mas because I wanted to film K9 and police training for my presentations... last night I finally got a chance to test the camera, I clipped it on my tactical vest during multi synced warrant serves. What I didn't know... lesson learned, should of tested the position before hand... that with my huge chest, or shall we say man boobs, lol... the camera was more pointed up... so the footage I got was not suitable for my training presentations... maybe next time. But it does show a little action... I won't bore you with the full video... police work is usually 5 minutes of adrenaline, then forever standing around waiting. lol
Background: We were serving 4 warrants on people and houses for drug possession and selling... it's been a lomg investigation, we know all the players, locations, and how they do it. Since they wanted to hit all 4 houses at once, to avoid people calling and warning others... 2 local PD's SWAT teams hit 2 houses on 13 Street, While county, hit the 2 on 14th Street.
I as the K9 handler was tasked to provide security on one of the houses, then after served and secured, would use my dog for drug searches on all cars on property and the houses... a busy night for me.
Anyway... this clip shows my ride up, following the SWAT van, then securing the South side of the perimeter, where we knew they were selling drugs out of the garage... you'll here me warn on timing, then warn of the kids playing... once out of the car you'll here me order a older man walking out of the garage to some officers, yelling at kids in the house yard behind me into there house... and 2 subjects come out of the garage side door... the confirmed targets, drug dealers with a history... they come out, see what the heck is going on, run back into the garage, (to hid the drugs), then come back out... you'll hear 3 flashbangs when the team makes entry... one by the open garage, one at the front door, one on the rear.
And for those who say it's too much... more then 50 guns located in all 4 houses, and a bunch of coke and MJ... the 2 that came out to me, had 2 fully locked and loaded AK-47's in the garage next to the door... lucky for me, their only thought was to throw the bag of dope they were selling deeper into the garage. (which Shadow later found of course). not a fight.
Bad, terrible video... but can you tell when the adrenaline kicked in? You'll see the goosebumps on my arm when it happens.
BTW, since this was meant for training videos.. I checked, am allowed to share and post... BUT, to not give certain types of people ammo against all things police... I will be taking it down after the weekend.
