It's meant for hobbyists, industrial designers and design engineers... oh and students. I remember in my college days taking graphic design I did most everything by hand waiting for Adobe to play catch-up. I still love using my hands to draw but having tools like these can certainly take a bite out of production times... that being said now your boss will want things in done in "2 hours".

Yeah, he's standing beside you: "Why are you taking so long? It should roll out of the PC at the push of the button!?"

Yeah... I always had the "Should I press the Magic Button" when asked to get things out in an unreasonable time-frame.

Unreasonable? No such thing with good planning:

hahaha Fortunately artist and their customers prefer natural materials, not ABS polymer. smile

I can imagine someone with a Logitech G9x making his own hand rest that snaps on to the mouse:

Or joystick parts, like the pinky-paddle?

Um yes, but I would use the polymer/ABS model to create casts. And then I would show up with metal stuff.

They'll do the same as they've done with the inkjet printers:

sell you a new printer for £40 and charge you £60 for replacement cartridges for it......

Yes! I an a cynic, but I wasn't born one.
