Nice,

Have been waiting on buying this due to having too many other games i haven't had time for, might have to grab it.

What is the general opinion on the 'missing link' dlc?

Cheers!

GreenManGaming are running another of those 'refer a friend' promotion on all their titles. This time they've done the 'you get $10 credit' for joining and buying something. If you are my 'friend' (call first, I only have a couch) then we both get credit. Here's some links of stuff that's cheap with the $10 credit:

Sim wise they do most of the Railworks 3, 1C flight stuff you can get via Steam plus those bizaare 'Escalator Simulator 2007!' titles. http://www.greenmangaming.com/genres/simulation/

Duke Nukem Forever $5 (or -$5 with the credit? uh) http://www.greenmangaming.com/games/action/duke-nukem-forever/

Wargame: European Escalation $29 http://www.greenmangaming.com/games/strategy/wargame-european-escalation/

Mass Effect 3 (North America) $49 http://www.greenmangaming.com/games/rpgs/mass-effect-3-row/

Syndicate (North America) $49 http://www.greenmangaming.com/games/shooter/syndicate-na/

Skyrim $49 http://www.greenmangaming.com/games/rpgs/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/

I don't know how long it goes on for, or how it works, but since the games activate on Steam/Origin anyway they seem like good deals. They may be cheaper elsewhere, but I've already bought them already so haven't hunted.

If you just shop, then my friend link is

http://www.greenmangaming.com/?gmgr=gutusike

So just go to

http://www.greenmangaming.com

..if you don't want to do the 'refer a friend' thing.

Hi Frog, thanks for the info. I did sign up and buy Wargame:EE. When I signed up I had $3.17 credit in my account somehow, after the purchase it gave me $2.00 so it appears they have changed the bonus from 10 to 2 dollars but still not a bad deal. Anyway, you may have a $2.00 credit in your account as i linked to the page from your friend link.

@Clydewinder - I'm glad you got something off. To be honest I don't really know how it works, or how long it goes on for. There is a new discount coupon for an extra $10 off as well, i.e. put this in as a coupon

GREEN-DISCO-UNT10

They also seem to apply to different regions (like europe vs americas), although I think it's a UK site.

Thanks! I'm a big soccer/footy fan and play FIFA 2012 a lot but never tried one of these management games.

At this great discount I can afford to try it and see if I like it, downloading on steam now.

!!!WARNING kludger WARNING!!!

That's a good price, and those are great games - but there are enormously addictive. I had a couple of pals back in the UK that put more time into that game series than raising their own kids. A lot to do with it was that they followed soccer pretty closely, but even still, those games almost have a WoW MMO level of crack addictiveness.

If you don't post within 7 days, leave a number for someone to come get you back smile
