Well, does anyone have one of these beds, or if in NE, a "Bob-o-pedic"? Curious as to satisfaction and price.
TIA

Yes, I tried one as part of a one year experiment my wife and I had to find the best bed. It is memory foam that feels nice in winter (there is not much winter here in San Diego) and fairly hot in summer. You do not sleep on it, you sleep in it (in the indentation). The price is medium to high compared to other quality memory foam mattresses. We also drove up to the showroom to test Foam Sweet Foam which has many models of latex mattresses. After several more months of checking, store shopping and internet research, we eventually settled on this:

This line of mattresses is from the OEM supplier that is used by many higher end name brands. Look into it and do alot research. For my wife and I, we ended up enjoying latex mattresses more than the memory foam. A great website to read up on is sleeplikethedead.com

After fracturing my back last August, it is the only way I can get a full nights sleep. Price is expensive.

Yes. We bought one about 3 years ago. We bought the TempuPedic "Classic" (which is probably the cheapest). We absolutely love it. Nice to be able to get up and toss and turn without disturbing your partner. We always comment when we go away that we can't wait to get back to our TempurPedic.

We did not buy the special box spring that goes below it. Instead I have a platform bed with slats that I laid plywood over and drilled holes in to allow for airflow. Seems to work fine.

Way too hot and way too much hammocking over time. We are now sleeping on an old spring mattress while looking for something new.
