Had BMS4.32 installed and working very well.
Tried to download and install ff5.5, did not work on my system so uninstalled it.
After that BMS was not able to change theatre, so I deleted everything named Falcon and tried to reinstall BMS 4.32.

Now the BMS installer says:
The registry entry points to a folder that does not contain a valid
Falcon BMS 4.32 install. Please restore the missing file and try
again or remove the registry entry.
(HKLM\SOFTWARE\Benchmark Sims\Falcon BMS 4.32) to be
able to install the product again. Path: C:\Falcon BMS 4.32\

Beeing a total computer handicaped, I need some help here please.

What do I do?

Did you remove the Falcon registry keys (with Regedit)?
I would search for the key below and delete it.
(HKLM\SOFTWARE\ Benchmark Sims\Falcon BMS 4.32

If there are other BMS or Falcon keys I would delete them too. You can search them automatically in Regedit with F3(if I remember correctly).

Be careful though. Deleting the wrong keys in registry can screw your Windows!!!!! It is better to read a bit about registry before tempering with it for the first time.

Best option is to get a registry cleaner. I use Tune Up Utilities.

It appears that FF mucked up your FBMS install, it did that for Open Falcon as well...I suspect on purpose and by design in both cases because in both cases it makes a specific point of saying you cant have both and wants to uninstall the "other" version even though it is unnecessary.

Good idea. Try a registry cleaner first. Most of the times it gives you the possibility to make a back-up of the registry before doing anything. I am using Crap Cleaner from time to time to delete regitry entries that are not used anymore. It does the job quickly and I've never had problems after clean-up.

CCleaner works great at keeping your registry nice n clean and it offers a backup of the registry before it touches anything, and best of all, it's free. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Thank you all so much!

Now I'll try some of the suggested solutions, and hope to fly BMS again yep

Could be awesome if all that energy that is used to battle (FF and BMS, OF), could be used in creating one grat sim.

Will reply in a few days when I tried some of the above.

And thanks again thumbsup

That did it.

Used AML free registry cleaner. No luck with CCleaner.
