This! Also in Dutch it was called Battle of the Planets. Loved that show as a kid. Especially when the leader (Jason?) trrrransformed his normal plane into the cool spacecraft

I'd say Cowboy Bebop counts. I have sometimes thought of it as another version of Fire Fly..

One cartoom I'd like to see but it'd have to been done right is "Jonny Quest" though I have no idea who could be in it anymore.

80s falstar, and bebop project is already going on with keanu reeves, he aproached both the director and music composer of the series.

Hey, I was still watching the reruns in the 80s, ah hell even the 90s when I still had cartoon network.
